Jeff Strowe, M.Ed, LPC-Associate

Jeff received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Appalachian State University, and his Master of Education in Counseling from North Carolina State University.

Jeff is an empathetic counselor who works passionately to provide positive outcomes for all those he encounters. He utilizes a variety of counseling techniques to maximize client participation while also offering up challenging ideas to help break stalled beliefs, crippling anxieties, and difficult behaviors. Along the counseling journey, Jeff will offer forth a judgment-free zone, consistent communication, and encouraging support and care. Jeff sees clients of all ages and backgrounds. His areas of focus include:

  • Anxiety and depression management
  • Marital/relationship issues
  • Time management and executive functioning
  • Self-esteem and confidence issues
  • Career planning development and work adjustment/life transition issues
  • Stress management/Self-Care

Prior to joining FCW, Jeff worked as a career development counselor at New York University’s Wasserman Center for Career Development, a career counseling specialist with The Toulouse Graduate School at the University of North Texas, and as a school counselor in the DFW area. Outside of work, he is an ardent supporter of live music, keeps up with MLB and the NBA, and makes time to travel with friends and family members.

Jeff is currently available for in person sessions at the East location and is also providing virtual sessions.
