Courtney Butler, MA, LPC-A

Under supervision by Holly Lockett, M.S, LPC-Supervisor

Courtney has a master’s degree in Professional Counseling and School counseling from Amberton University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Texas.

Courtney believes that taking the step towards counseling can be both intimidating yet empowering. She believes in walking alongside you to provide the three H’s-Help, Hope, and Healing during your process. The therapeutic relationship is a true partnership and Courtney believes in creating a safe, open, and nonjudgmental atmosphere to facilitate a sense of ease for the client. She is passionate about providing a space for BIPOC and de-stigmatizing therapy. Courtney’s approach is integrative and suited to fit each client’s needs.

Courtney specializes in postpartum depression and anxiety. She received training from Postpartum Support International (PSI) in perinatal mental health and advanced psychotherapy. Courtney has also received training from Anxiety Training for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for OCD and anxiety. She supports mothers and families during their reproductive journey and individuals struggling with anxiety disorders.
